Meet Monica

For more than 40 years, Monica Linford has been helping people discover movement that supports them for life.

An internationally respected movement educator, speaker and author, Monica’s career has taken her from professional ballet and contemporary dance to creating the internationally acclaimed ChiBall Method, which reached 26 countries and was translated into five languages. She is the author of Awaken Your Body, Balance Your Mind and recipient of the UK Fitness Professionals Award of Excellence.

Drawing on a lifetime of study—including Pilates, Yoga, Qigong, somatic movement, the Feldenkrais Method, the Franklin Method and the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine—Monica has developed an integrative approach that is both restorative and deeply personal.

Shensara is the natural culmination of that journey: a gentle online movement experience created to help women embrace ageing with greater ease, vitality and grace.
