Monica was included in a panel of academics and obesity experts to discuss the issue of obesity and how current research was influencing obesity prevention and public health programmes. Her contribution to the panel discussion provided a very different viewpoint. Monica’s philosophy and input about cross cultural differences were very thought provoking. Not only did she present her ideas very effectively but she actively demonstrated her ideas by getting the entire audience up to participate and experience.’
‘
Her balanced and respectful approach, which captivated the audience, provided a real special factor to the success of the symposium. We are currently in negotiation with the panel and Monica to take a research project further.

‘We engaged Monica to present the topic of Wellness at Work in Your Life as part of our women’s specific forum. We found Monica to be very engaging and her passion for the topic was infectious. Importantly, Monica took the time to tailor-make a presentation for our women and her presentation style ensured attendees were participating in exercises and interacting in the topic. Monica even managed to silence a room of 400+ women when conducting a breathing exercise which is no mean feat! Overall the topic resonated well with forum attendees and the information she presented was easily transferrable to everyday life. We thank Monica for her presentation and hope to one day invite her back to speak to us further on health and wellbeing”.
